1. Hunt for Bargains but No Budget Cuts
Despite an uncertain economic climate and continued inflation, 88% of HomeToGo survey respondents said they still see travel as a worthwhile expense, and more than a third of participants (36%) even said they want to spend more on travelling this summer. These results are positive and encouraging for short-term rental property owners and the travel industry in general.

Travelers are becoming more and more interested in sustainable traveling. In fact, 77% of survey participants said they thought it was important to travel more sustainably, and 32% said they were already taking steps to make their vacation more environmentally friendly.
Two-thirds of those surveyed indicated that the eco-friendliness of an accommodation was a factor in their booking decision, and almost as many (62%) were willing to pay extra for a more sustainable option.
