Credit card payments through Smoobu booking tool for your vacation rental website
From now on you have the possibility to accept credit card payments via the Smoobu booking tool without paying commission. Guests simply enter their booking data and the price is automatically calculated and displayed to the potential guest. Of course, additional options such as breakfast, bike rental or similar are also included. Customers can then safely and quickly pay online via their credit card and you will immediately see your payment status in Smoobu. The validation of the credit card takes place automatically. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and more are accepted.
This is how the connection works. We work with the payment provider Stripe. Proceed as follows:
1. Sign up here at Stripe
2. Add your Stripe keys into Smoobu. Setup -> Payment Methods. In Stripe you can find your keys under the menu item API. Copy the Publishable and the Secret Key and paste them into Smobu.
3. Activate the credit card payment in Smoobu under Setup -> Booking Tool
4. Receive credit card payments from your guests.
5. The money goes directly into your Stripe account. We do not charge any additional commissions.
