Booking.com has announced the winners of the Traveller Review Awards 2023. This award is only given to regions and cities that are particularly hospitable.
Vacation rentals are the trend
Booking.com awarded 1.36 million properties with this award, more than ever before. 60,697 of these are located in the UK and 46,839 in the US. It is also worth noting that vacation homes have become the second most booked property type in the US (10,977) after hotels.
So it is more worthwhile than ever to advertise your vacation rental on Booking.com.
Requirements for the Traveller Review Award
The prerequisite for the Traveller Review Award 2023 was an average review score of at least 8 out of 10 possible points by November 30, 2022 at 11:59 pm. For this, there had to be at least 3 reviews from customers who actually stayed at the rental property.
When determining the most hospitable cities and regions in 2023, the total number of winners was related to the number of eligible accommodations in their city or region.
